Right now Patapon is still a lot better. However, I think Patapon is the best game on the PSP so I guess that doesn't say much. FF7 Crisis Core is still pretty good though - makes me want Square to remake FF7.
Unfortunately, I disagree with you on your remake stance. I think Square should definitely remake FF7 over FF6. FF6 is perfect the way it is whereas FF7 could benefit drastically from visual improvements. FF6 had a certain charm in its visual style that transcends time (like Chrono Trigger). IMO, it just wouldn't be the same game if its unique look was supplanted with a modern high-res White Knight Story-esque look (although that game looks pretty awesome).

I think they're pretty good. CoD4 is one of the best games on any console, MLB the Show is fine for sports fans and all 3 movies are good blu-ray showcases and appeal to different folks.

One from each major Final Fantasy. Too bad they didn't include anyone from Tactics though - that game is definetely better than most of the "major" Final Fantasies (not a knock on those games, just a compliment to Tactics)

I've yet to try PS1 emulation on my PSP - would you recommend it? There are tons of PS1 games I'd like to replay, but if they crash too often/run slowly/screw with the PSP, I might not bother.
Although Nintendo has kids and "gamers" (who aren't ashamed of being seen with a DS in public) in their pocket, Sony has effectively marketed to the adult "niche" by combining more adult-themed games with a sleeker, more mature hardware design - this is very similar to what they did with the original Playstation when it went up against the N64.
Unfortunatly for Sony, the handheld market is much more dependant on kids than the TV-based gaming market is. Howe...
